The wolf has a moment here that is ALMOST serious and deep until Vidu ruins it in surrounding panels. XD
Fun fact: the original draft of chapter 3 actually started on this page. (well, there was some lead up, like a shot of Vidu flying to the Underworld.) But everything that came before this page was added at the last minute. <~ Some might say it stretches too long or its off topic or they don't understand the point, but I'm a LOT happier with the twice as long version of chapter 3. Actual character development matters to me. I spent the previous two chapters chopping off as much as I could, getting everything as short as possible. The characters, their humor, and their depth all suffered.
Chapter 3.... NO.
Not only will the funny talking parts be longer, funnier, and more meaningful, but the tragic parts won't skimp on the blood loss or emotional scaring, either. Chapter 3 is going to be as long and drawn out as it's gonna be.
No joke or toothy dismemberment will be spared.
Also, you remember the naming contest from February to guess the wolf's name? The next page will finally reveal, IN COMIC, what is name actually is.
