WOW I am so intensely excited to post this. It is the COVER for Toilet Genie chapter 1. This piece is everything that Skittlez is, somehow, and I am very happy about that.

I think I leveled up as an artist while composing this. X_X It is the best thing I have painted in my life. I only hope that in the coming months, I will top it with something better. ^^ That is always the question in my mind ... what if this is my best and I've reached it? Now what? This still isn't good enough. But thus far it seems to me every 6 months, I produce something that pushes my limits.

So check back in another 6 months I guess. XD hope you like it as much as I like it. O_O

Wow, this is indeed some mighty fine impressive painting

I adore how everything is composed, and you've pulled off this rich, strong saturation in red with watercolor and inks--but not too strong in the places where it counts ;] That's always been a hard thing for me to pull off such strong washes in red (or most colors) in watercolor. The strong contrast with the creepy trees came out well too, and all in all it's a very haunting image and suitable for the grungy style of the comic.

At the same time, it's also in a style that's not quite the same as the comic (of the pages we've seen so far anyway), though I think that works fine. Maybe it's just the red that makes me think this, since most the pages so far are blue, brown, and grey dominated.

You can't really see it with the logo covering it but I love the tree on the left side, just something about the way its all silhouetted my eye just goes there first.
