"You can give up"
He comes to you, speaking softly, wearing white. But there is only one thing to say to him. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toilet Genie related art. Take what you can from this cryptic thing. It's sufficient to say Toilet Genie is much more epic than a small dog and a man bound to a toilet. When I try and describe my stories and characters ... the best I can do is to say life is a rotten, difficult thing. Sometimes the best a person can give it is a sarcastic laugh. As was the case with ASPS [Resurrection, as it now is called], it started out funny and gradually darkened in content. Toilet Genie will do the same, but with ... er .... a hopefully comprehendable plot. On a lighter subject ~ I will have this print with me at Otakon. 8D =xandrei has lent me her table! I will be there with *balisong. <3 I may be searching for a hotel, however, so if you likewise are hotel roomate searching, do note me. <3 As I'll be ordering a print run of this, should you be interested in prints, do also note me on that subject. ^^ 11x17 and 10 x 8 sizes come in pretty pretty pretty shiny bags. %__% *bag happy* Note: Due to scanner technology being made of fail, this watercolor painting has been touched up in photoshop. |

For me, in my own life, this sort of choice is very tempered with personal experience and belief that has nearly nothing to do with tables at conventions. I think your choosing to have the table to yourself is completely fine, I only wish you'd decided that from the beginning. I guess I thought that if I couldn't get a table, then we would share, but I'm not sure if you had explicitly said that or if it was my assumption. Regardless, I now have a membership and a pile of merch, so going to the trouble of attending is more worth it than not.
I'll stay with you if I can't find anything cheaper, how is that? I've had to pay for a plane ticket from LA to Baltimore and your choice has freed me to also pick in my benefit.
Meanwhile - why not advertise your room on the otakon forum? That's how I found my room for A-kon. Being that I never was AT the room, getting along with who you share with is a nonfactor.
hehe, you think so fatally. Why would this be your last Otakon? And why IS this your only convention with your own table? Your work definitely merits you doing it at more conventions. For what it's worth, I'm usually able to sort out a good hotel room at the conventions I go to, since I know a lot of people who go. If you ever want to attend the conventions I do, I'm sure I could help you with rooming at least. [I wouldn't be offering help if I was still angry with you.]
