Here is the rough drawing that preceded the final painting. Sometimes it's fun to see the planning stages. Rough is on TWC, because I'm shameless about asking for self publishing votes.

Ron and Hermione. c: 5th or 6th year. Book inspired, not movie designs. Crookshanks knows that cup isn't a cup. 8<

The Hogsmeade Weekend!

This design will be printed on shirts which will be for sale.

The event is put on by a uni club whose members are working very hard to make it awesome. D8 <3

The thing about graphic design for pop culture shirts is coming up with something simple that can be immediately recognized by all audiences while also still feeding into something clever that's specific to the fan cult. For instance, the Star Wars shirt that says "Han Shot First." Invested fans get the meaning while casual followers get that it's from Star Wars but might need to look up the meaning.

That's the kind of concept I wanted to make here. >< I guess I'll know if success was had when I print postcards to bring to shows with me.

I guess if no one knows the spell or can decipher it from visual clues here, I dug too deep. :|

It was really cute to me that Ron and Hermione ended up together. ^^ I guess I was rooting for HarryxCho and GinnyxNeville *cough* and SiriusxRemus, but ah, I guess HarryxGinny is acceptable and still darling.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH this is the first piece I tried to use walnut ink on. It did complete not act the way I was thinking it would. O_o It was still pretty, but difficult to weild.

Photoshop, for scan cleaning, because the only thing impressive about my scanner was its very low price...

I'm really happy you like the image! I'm excited that it can be in Madam Puddifoot's. <3 That's adorable. I hadn't thought of that when I made a piece with tea cups.
