So.... Rising Stars of Manga 8, here we go. O_O;

For those who don't know, RSoM is a manga competition held yearly, the finalists are posted online, readers vote, and the end result is 8 or 9 published comics in an anthology. Printed entrants get a chance to pitch a comic to tokyopop.

For those who don't know, my goal in life is to draw comics.

Please read _SS_SSIN, although you don't have to vote for it if you find another comic you prefer. ^^

EDIT: Nobody worry that I used the Halo font, it isn't part of the comic. XD I just nerded over it and made a promo poster with it.

Meanwhile, this is fantastic - I thought it was the cover and was about to tell you what a great example of a well-designed cover this is ... but I guess it's a great example of a well-designed poster (; What can I say? I love beams of light and when titles have prominence.

I'm dying from really severe chest infection at the moment, which ... influences my ability to ... use my brain?

In any case, if it were a cover I was going to say that part of what makes bad covers bad is the way titles are or aren't integrated - they're not clear or they look naff or whatever. I think your title is both clear and not naff and gives the rest of the piece a strong foundation - the light directs one's eyes down to it and I think that's really, really, really ... good.

Is that better? (;

baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! You don't have to defend what you say, I was teasing... it's not like my brain is working properly either, and I can't even claim oxygen deprivation .... "massages of encouragement" ......... >< I don't even know.

Is it the work load you have that's affecting your health?

Part of writerly egotism means if I don't defend everything I say I'm not much of one ... I think (;

It's the reverse - my health affects my work load. I have a horrible deadline coming up and I'm supposed to be working on it all weekend ... it's going very slowly at the moment.
