About painting and title: Lots to write about this one. @_@ I did this painting for an art book of girls with guns ... dunno if I got in yet or not, but I'll journal it if I did. ^^ *crosses fingers* The design of it was inspired by those dancing Shiva paintings and sculptures [Nataraja]. Sorry to anyone who knows better on this subject than me, I can't speak Indian and I know so little about Hindu its sad. o_o; She isn't Shiva of course .... she isn't in the typical Shiva pose.
EDIT: I widened her shoulders a bit but beyond that I probably won't make any anatomy edits. Sorries.
Once we've finished moving house, I'm gonna get the biggest print of this...
No, scratch that. I'll just paint it straight onto the wall. Then fail miserably and buy six prints to cover it up.
Oh wow, this is just amazing. I like how she matches (and almost blends into) the background, but is also completely separate (color-wise, of course she as a character is separate) from it.
And I didn't see any anatomical errors until they were pointed out, but my anatomy needs working on. *shrug*

I would put something clever/witty/sarcastic in here, but I couldn't think of anything at the time, and I'm pretty sure if I did it wouldn't be original. Woohoo I have a signature!
Yeah, looking back on it now, I see some issues, but at the same time I'm not really bothered by them.... well, YET. XD Give me a month to reflect. I usually over exagerate twists and stuff, but it looks kind of pretty...
Indeed... the right arm looks too short now. T_T I wonder how many other people will notice. Too late to fix it now. btw, don't worry about giving crits, I don't mind. No reason to be bashful.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
