Thank you so much for the DD today on this image. >< I was saving this Eevee pic for February, since they're in love! (Ha, he loves her and licks her paw, but she is going to bite him in a minute.) I really wanted to post something new the day I got a DD. T___T <3 <3 <3
This idea for Eevee has been in my head since July last year, with no time to paint! And in July, I thought I wanted to draw them on the edge of an alfalfa field. The fields near my home were so green and deep they were nearly blue. Then, as I finally found time to work on this image, it was January, and there was a moderate blizzard that snowed two feet in 4 days or so. Winter is my favorite season. I erased the alfalfa I drew earlier and drew snow instead in honor of the blizzard. 8D Eevee has grown so much extra winter fluff, a snow storm doesn't make it uncomfortable.
D8 Created in preparation for Sakura Con in Seattle! I'M GOING I'M GOING. *furious working*
It's awesome to meet another artist who uses DS watercolors. <3 I love them loads. So much better than anything else I've ever used. I keep recommending them, but I can't think of any other artist who's actually taken my rec. :/ They're expensive paint.
I haven't had inspiration like this in so long... Thank-you!!!!
