TWC: yes, wolf, you're just adorable when you're ripping up your food into a bloody mess.

Page 61 kind of leads up to this page, and then this page kind of leads up to a really intense double spread in chapter 3.

But this is also an example of why TG sucks at being a webcomic and is kind of good at being a print comic. This update has nothing on it. Just a bunch of pretty paintiness and some ominous foreshadowing, if you get the drift of those bottom two panels. When read in context I think splash pages can be nice though.

Someday I'd like to challenge myself to do a comic with no splash pages whatsoever. They're super pretty! But like a fast paced action type story could be done well without them.

Another comment because I love coming back and looking at your pages, (which is why I am so excited for ch.2 to be printed. Preordered and everything :D) but I felt like saying, when this comic first started I faved specific pages I feel in love with, and I think I commented just a little bit more than that. (I try to not fav without commenting) but as this story has progressed I found myself faving pages more and more, until, I think it is safe to say I fav every new page of yours now. Each new page just gets more and more epic! I know you stress a lot over panel, and bubble placement and in all honestly often the best work for those are when the readers are so pulled into the story their placement just seems natural. I've read published comics that didn't have the layouts as well thought out and beautiful as yours, and are often downright clunky. I have to say though I am at least one reader who fawns over bubble placement and what not. You seriously inspire me to go for it and work on my own comic.
